AppQuest Software was founded in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 2004. The company moved to its current location in downtown Chicago in 2006.

As part of the company's long term strategy, AppQuest Software products are only available through the purchase of the company's consulting services in relation to database application development projects. However, broad market commercialization of the company's products is a long term objective.
